This Privacy Policy describes how ENROUTE.RUN ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you use the Enroute Meet mobile application (the "App") on iOS and Android.
Information We Collect
We collect account information you provide when registering (name, email address, optional profile photo, and favourite sports and activities), event and activity data generated by your use of the App (events you create, join, or RSVP to, and your activity history), general location data at the city or region level to surface nearby events, and device information collected automatically via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (device type, OS, app version, and crash data).
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the App, connect you with local group rides, runs, hikes, and walks, display your profile and RSVP status to other community members on events you join or create, send notifications about events you are participating in, and improve App performance.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with Google Firebase, which powers our database, authentication, and analytics infrastructure (Firebase Privacy Policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy ). Your display name, profile photo, and RSVP status are visible to other App users on events you participate in. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us below. Deletion will be completed within 30 days.
Your Rights
If you are located in the EEA, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what data we collect, request access or deletion, and opt out of certain data uses.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission and secure Firebase infrastructure. No internet transmission is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
