Overview
This agreement governs the Enroute QuickBooks Connector, a local tool operated by Enroute Running Inc. and, if separately connected, Enroute Cycling Inc. It is intended only for Enroute personnel and service providers authorized by Enroute and the applicable QuickBooks Online company administrator. It is not offered to the public.
Permission to use
Enroute grants authorized users limited, non-transferable permission to use the Connector for Enroute business accounting and internal reporting. A QuickBooks company administrator must authorize each company through Intuit’s OAuth consent process. Connecting one company does not authorize access to another.
Current functionality
The current Connector obtains OAuth authorization, stores credentials locally, refreshes access tokens, and reads company information and chart-of-accounts data. It does not create, change, delete, or migrate accounting records. Future write functions require separate implementation, review, and authorization.
Responsibilities
Authorized users must protect the computer and credential files, use the Connector only for permitted company files, and report suspected unauthorized access. Users must not share OAuth tokens or client credentials or bypass Intuit access controls.
Third-party service
QuickBooks Online and the Intuit API are provided by Intuit under its own terms. The Connector depends on their availability and an active company connection. Enroute may modify or discontinue its internal use.
Ending access
Enroute may end permission to use the Connector at any time. A QuickBooks administrator may disconnect the app through connected-app settings. Enroute can also remove locally stored tokens. This stops future API access but does not delete accounting records in QuickBooks.
