Detour II 35L

Peak Performance was founded in 1986 in Åre, Sweden by three ski racers — Stefan Engström, Peter Blom and Christer Mårtensson — who believed ski kit should be both technically honest and genuinely good looking. From a single shop in a mountain town at the 63rd parallel, the brand grew into Scandinavia's most recognisable mountainwear name. HQ moved to Stockholm in 1999; Amer Sports acquired the brand in 2018 (alongside Arc'teryx, Salomon, Atomic), and the line is led by President Stefano Saccone from April 2025. The Åre maxim still holds: if it can handle Åre, it can handle anything.

Peak Performance bags are Scandinavian-utilitarian — the Detour II 35L duffel (polyamide + recycled polyester lining, YKK Vislon), the 4.5L Outdoor Sling (3-point strap, hydration-compatible, water-repellent), and the smaller Accessory Bag and Detour Travel Case for packing. Made without intentionally added PFAS. Built to carry a run day, a weekend, or a packing system. Designed in Stockholm; tested where the weather is real.
