Ciele Athletics was founded in Montreal in 2014 by Jeremy Bresnen (formerly Head Designer at Orage) and Mike Giles, with a single product: the GOCap, a five-panel running hat with UPF-rated knit front panels, COOLmatic mesh at the back, and a soft packable SOFTflat brim. One factory order of 1,400 caps in nine colourways became the cultural artefact of a generation of runners — more than a million Ciele caps later, the brand has expanded head-to-toe, but the cap is still the centre of gravity. The RDCap Elite is Ciele's rain-ready running cap — 43 g, 56.5 cm stretch fit, cut from a 3-ply performance-ready recycled COOLmatic|EXP fabric that regulates temperature in shifting weather. Ultra-light, highly breathable, packable, finished with reflective detail. Built for the runner who leaves the house when the forecast says the opposite.
