The Women's Trail HIPE 2.5L Shell Jacket is the lighter of Peak Performance's trail shells in a women's cut — HIPE is the brand's in-house waterproof-breathable membrane, here in the 2.5L construction that trades a little of the 3L version's robustness for less weight and a smaller packed size. Fully seam-sealed, made without intentionally added PFAS, cut for mountain running with articulated sleeves and a stow-away hood — the Åre test-lab logic that a shell should disappear until the weather shows up.
