How Maurten Works
Maurten uses a hydrogel technology based on natural polysaccharides. When you drink their mix:
- You consume a water-based solution with carbohydrates.
- In the low pH of the stomach, the solution turns into a gel (hydrogel).
- This gel encapsulates the carbohydrates and moves them more gently into the small intestine, where absorption happens.
Because the carbs are carried in a gel matrix, the osmotic load in the stomach is reduced, which helps:
