The Men's Speedgoat 5 GTX Spike is the ice shoe of the Speedgoat family — the Speedgoat 5 platform with Gore-Tex protection and 12 permanently embedded tungsten-carbide studs. At ~349 g it is the heaviest Speedgoat, and the only one built specifically for frozen trails: hardpack, glare ice and the winter single-track that ends most trail seasons. CMEVA midsole and Vibram Megagrip with 5 mm Traction Lugs carry over from the standard 5.
