Women's Pace Shorts

On was founded in 2010 in Zurich by Olivier Bernhard — a former Ironman and duathlon world champion, together with David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti. Bernhard had prototyped the first CloudTec sole by gluing cut sections of garden hose to the bottom of a running shoe; the hollow rubber pods compressed on landing and locked firm for push-off, and the idea scaled. The brand still runs its R&D out of Zurich and has been listed on the NYSE since September 2021.

The Pace Shorts are On's everyday road running short, CleanCloud (a recycled-polyester family) main fabric with an integrated inner brief, cut for daily training.
