The Men's Speedgoat 6 is Hoka's technical trail all-rounder — named after Karl Meltzer's Speedgoat 50K, the race Meltzer won on early Hokas before most people had heard of the brand. The 6 runs the proven formula: 37/32 mm stack, 5 mm drop, Meta-Rocker geometry, a CMEVA midsole at ~283 g, and Vibram Megagrip with 5 mm Traction Lugs underfoot. The newer Speedgoat 7 moves to supercritical foam; the 6 stays the dependable, known quantity of the family.
